Davin’s passion for the music industry started at a very young age. Ever since he was able to make an allowance, Davin always used his money to purchase the newest hit albums or most updated boom boxes.
His love for music landed him into a Recording Engineering program right after high school. There he flourished and was given an internship at MCA Music Publishing (which eventually would become Universal Music Publishing) as an Archive Assistant.
Davin has been an integral part of Universal Music Publishing for over 20 years. His primary responsibility, as the main Archive Engineer, is to supervise the daily activities of Universal’s Music Library, which include historical to current iconic musical legends such as: Elvis Presley, Elton John, B.B. King, U2, Aerosmith, No Doubt, Prince, Tupac Shakur, Madonna and many, many more.
His technical knowledge and organizational skills are essential in keeping up with the demand for timeless classics and current releases on musical compact box sets. In addition, he oversees their immense DVD library, essential for the company’s commercial use. Throughout the years, Davin has worked with countless renowned writers and artists, assisting them with archiving and maintaining their own personal music catalogs.

Mark Hamaguchi
Coordinating Producer
As Coordinating Producer, Mark Hamaguchi oversees all of the aspects of production management for demos, pilots and series that are developed through 44 Blue Productions.
Mark started his career at MTV Networks as an Advertising Sales Assistant. Through handling a wide variety of tasks and projects, he soon discovered that his energy, thirst for adventure and passion for multi-tasking were better suited for the production side of entertainment. His career transition led him to Triage Entertainment, Inc. where he gained experience working with producers and supervising field shoots for such notable shows as Lifetime Television’s “Beyond Chance,” Fine Living Network’s “Great Adventures” and “A Home For the Holidays” (CBS’ annual adoption special).
Mark’s career has always been as entertaining as the programs and shows he works on. He has traveled to beautiful locales like the Hawaiian islands of Oahu and the Big Island and has worked on shows dealing with celebrities and musical acts such as Stevie Wonder, Melissa Etheridge, Mariah Carey and Faith Hill. He also has had to ride inside the trunk of a moving Jeep while off-roading in Death Valley, face a roaring bear as it was released from its cage and work within a classified environment on an actual battleship. For Mark, working with 44 Blue has been his ultimate adventure. Since arriving at 44 Blue over six years ago, Mark has been a Production Manager for a range of different series and pilots, including “Lock Up” (MSNBC), “Find & Design” (A&E), “What Should You Do?” (Lifetime) and “Mega Movers” (History Channel). He was promoted to Coordinating Producer in 2006 and currently acts as Department Head for the Production Management Team.
